Musician, Margherita Conti, is a music educator, composer, producer, and publisher. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Sierra Nevada College and her Master of Music in Music Education from Boston University. She is an active member and past board member for the Seattle Music Teachers Association, and a member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), and the Society for Research in Music Education.
A long-time resident of Seattle, Margherita has also served as a volunteer for the Seattle Public Schools music programs, taught guitar at Shoreline Community College as adjunct faculty, and served as a Steering Committee Member for the Seattle Performing Songwriters Collective, and on the board of directors for the Seattle Folklore Society.
Margherita teaches guitar, piano, voice, composition, and music theory. Her original music has received airplay on both public and commercial radio stations nationally and is distributed internationally through iTunes, Amazon Music, Google Play, CD Baby, and other online retailers (as Marguerite Conti).
