Where Education and Inspiration Meet

Dr. William Fletcher Bryant is an accomplished composer, conductor, organist, and woodwind player with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Washington in organ performance.  Previously, he received his Master of Music degree in composition and organ performance from the renowned Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University as well as his Bachelor of Music degree in composition and oboe performance from the same institution. Dr. Bryant currently serves as Director of Music Ministries at Faith Lutheran Church in Redmond, WA. Dr. Bryant has also appeared with many Seattle area orchestras on the oboe/English horn and organ and currently holds the second clarinet seat with the Seattle Festival Orchestra. He has also performed with many Seattle based theater companies as a reed player performing on the flutes, oboes, clarinets, saxophones, and keys.  He has received many awards for his compositions and has pieces published both nationally and internationally. 

Dr. Bryant’s teaches students of all ages and skill levels in piano, all woodwinds, composition, music theory, organ, and couches voice students interested in musical theatre. He loves promoting new compositions and music from the American tradition. Dr. Bryant incorporates theory and historical performance practice in his teaching style to ensure a well rounded education for his students.
